“Glass” filled up expectations and broke Box Office weekend!

After two previous M. Night Shyamalan installments “Unbreakable” and “Split”, fans clamed for a feature that would unify Shyamalan’s franchise, and now that’s come together in the form of “Glass”.

Glass recalls the story of three individuals (James McAvoy, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson) with “super natural abilities” locked up in a mental facility, conspiring together to find their way out and show the world what they are capable of!

Now, finally released, Glass not just cracked but broke Box Office in its opening weekend, managing a solid #1 start, playing very similarly to its predecessor based on current estimates. In terms of some of the records it was eying this weekend and, the three-day performance makes it the fourth largest January opening of all-time.

Even though Universal Pictures “Glass” is not directly a super hero movie such as DC or Marvel, it has surely the potential to par these types of stories. Currently Glass’s Global Cume stands in $89MM USD, outstanding in the Latin American Region, especially in Mexico with 1.3MM moviegoers and average Box Office revenue of $4.7MM USD.
